Getting Antsy
I've been truly blessed to have long runs that are going well as well as some really strong speed work. I enjoy winter running without a particular schedule, but by the time spring arrives I'm ready for a regimen and some sort of race. One of my favorites is the Owls Roost Rumble, which this year is on April 30: http://www.owlsroostrumble.com/. It's always great to see folks here you haven't seen in some time. I've signed up for the Chicago Marathon in October, so training for that will start soon. Really looking forward to that and hoping I can stay healthy!

Great Running Weekend
I was fortunate to get a great couple of runs over this past weekend. On Saturday, I did a 15 mile loop that I really like going out Homestead Rd, through Carrboro and the UNC campus before returning to our apartment:

Today was another great (as always) run on the Carolina North trails which are just across the street from our apartment. These trails are always perfect for a nice recovery run and good for several deer and squirrel sightings, along with the occasional copperhead in the summer!
Quote of the Day:
"When danger reared its ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled, brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin!" (Monty Python and the Holy Grail)
